Just some quick observations and a question.
This is a huge and brazen slap in the face of average Canadians and I'm glad they caught the creep. From the description, it sounds like the guy was deranged and I'll bet that plays heavy in the defence.
Perhaps this will get more people to addredd crime as a real issue, rather than something that happens somewhere else.

My question is this guy was charged with first degree murder when this does not sound planned, yet Pickton kills at least 6 and probably more over a period of years and that's not first degree? maybe some legal beagles can explain that one.
