Well here we go again. Waist more Canadian Taxpayers money. Brian Mulroney received $300,000 of dirty money from arms dealer Karlheinz Schreiber. This is $2000K short of the offered amount, because Mulroney can't or would not follow instructions., like every good little politician.
Mulroney sues Canadian Government for false accusations to the tune of $2.1 million. Tribunal held, government folds to save face and pays Mulroney total asked with no questions. OOPs there goes more of your money. Everything swept under the carpet and Mulroney walks even though the monies received were done so under false pretenses.
Schreiber wanted in Germany for fraud and tax evasion. Canada agrees to extradite Schreiber for his crimes. Mulroney pisses him off and Schreiber opens his mouth. Schreiber who is now under house arrest, instead of a jail, where criminals belong, has been asked to have his extradition stayed (in other words he has mummed up) in order to stay in his luxurious home with no restraints until whenever the government wants to delve into the paltry $300K that has literally cost you and me probably over $4,000,000 by the time all this is over.
I am not a politician nor am I a mathematician, but does it not make sense to send Schreiber on his way and use that money to prosecute the Honorable Mr. Molroney. They are going to squander our tax money anyway. They don't have the balls to face up to their inefficiencies.
At least Bill Clinton achieved his legacy with a little dribble on the chin. I wonder what Molroney will be remembered for.

P/S Why can't Schreiber testify over video conferencing. Who needs the fat smug deceitful piece of crap in our country any longer than needed. Wonder who he bribed to get his Canadian citizenship. I'd put money on it, he had a criminal record before he arrived in our ports asking for political asylum or whatever excuse he crawled into a citizenship.
