i know a few people who could be classed as overweight, but the BMI scale is wrong. There are alot of loggers and fisherment where I live, all very strong and muscular men (and women). They are all classed as overweight or obese on the BMI scale because of their muscle mass.

I wish survey's like this would list which meathods were used to colllect their info, whether it was using the BMI scale, measuring the layer of fat, or some other meathod.

The sumos in japan are considered to be grossly or even morbidly obese, but they are actually quite healthy and many have a fairly well developed musculature under that padding.

I've got a friend that stands 6'7" and tips the scale at 320 lbs. He has no fat on him, shaking his hand is like grabbing a bunch of bananas.

Anyway, they had some sort of scale in the mall that rated your health after you entered your weight and stood on it. I'm assuming it ran on BMI, it told him he was morbidly obese.

We called him fat bastard for the rest of the year.

On a side note, if he uses one hand on a pipe wrench, the wrench works just fine. But if something is really stuck and he decides to use two, the wrench snaps. 8O

Brand new wrench too.
