This is completely unacceptable behaiour especially with a child involved and should be dealt with. But, here's the real question. Why is this so much worse than what the Quebec gov't has been allowed to do to the English language in their province with the tacit approval of numerous federal gov'ts?

Seems to me that when you allow this type of language censorship on a Provincial Gov't level the attitude is definitely going to filter down to the population.

I agree this guys behavior is disgusting. I don't know even a bit about the rest of your statement to agree or not. Does seem that this is becoming an issue in Quebec though.

It's also the reason Harper lost the election by standing on his 'report a suspicious Muslim hotline' campaign promise.

Division doesn't work well as political tactic in Canada. Yet, anyhow. But yes, Quebec does seem to be heading there. :(
