Wildlife isn't a Disney movie. Deer are not all cute and cuddly.

It most likely is, and the reason it only had 1 wolf chasing it was because it killed at least one other and the pack was not letting an easy meal go to waste.

Buck deer will F%&@ you up! Especially if they are in rut, which should be any time now.

Used to raise Elk on the farm. We had to clean up carcasses with antler holes in the belly almost every year.
