Did you ever hear the one about how a big contributor to arctic ice loss is blackened snow from coal particles blown north from Asia. It's global.

I'll help you. It was because it became economically viable to rely less on coal and more on natural gas. Natural gas burns cleaner.

Also the companies invested in cleaning coal emissions at the source. They were getting pretty good at it too.
