Lemmy Lemmy:
No, he didn't. But don't let it stop you from making false accusations just because you disagree with his politics. Classy.

hum, asking a question regarding the legality of discussing government business at a pay for access event is not making a false accusation. This has nothing to do with his politics, but more along the line of ethics isn't it?

Stinky, stinky, stinky. And the excuse is that it isn't illegal. We have the same shit going on here in BC. I understand the Ont Liberals finally put a stop to it. Trudeau can dance around it all he wants, but it smells.

Yeah I agree it's stinky, so those unable to distinguish between the Clinton Foundation and the Democratic Party or Hillary and a Liberal fundraiser and the PET foundation and the PM must be irate.
You know - Justin MUST therefore be buying 6 ft portraits of himself and ordering civil servants to approve Chinese takeovers of the oil sands with that money.

Exactly this.

There was big scandal about in the UK a few years ago.

I guess Canada is lagging behind as usual; just in time for Potato to cash up.

It's not about direct bribery, these events. It's about cash for access and the wealthy having a preferential ear, and so our political decisions get skewed to please the bloodsuckers. Crispie Crunch is playing the same game. I guess at some point the developers and realtors just weren't ponying up enough cash, and so we got the foreign buyers tax.

Exactly and couching the unethical practice by using terms like "speaking engagement fees" or "not enough money to make a difference" is nothing more than advocating for unprincipled behaviour. If the Ontario Liberals really did do away with this cronyism then it's one of the few things they've done that I agree with.
