Since he doesn't own the buildings and they're just using his name in a sponsorship deal, I'm quite sure for the right amount of monies from the Developers and Cities involved Mr. Trump could be convinced to allow them to break the naming agreement and remove the Trump brand from their multicultural and ethnically diverse buildings.
After all he is a businessman first.

Pay to take it down ? It's a licencing agreement, they are currently paying to have his name on there. If they want it off, they can just not renew the licence.

Maybe you should send that to the two rather obvious Liberal twat fanbois who are so heated up and writing letters.
It's not like they know anything about business.

They don't even need to wait to do that. The license just allows them to use the name, doesn't force them to do so. If the Vancouver developer is smart he will take the name down. The brand is rapidly going from positive to negative. It will cost him money ie business to keep the name. Especially if people start holding protests outside his building.

Some cities are able to handle more than one issue at a time.

Sure, but this isn't an issue.
This is an opportunity.
An opportunity for media-whore politicians to get their 5 minutes of "look, I'm working" media time.

It's pretty said, and telling, that that's what you take away from this.

That's all there is to take away from this. Josh being Josh.
Hyper sensitive and media-whoring. Welcome to politics in 2015.

If "Josh being Josh" is to call out bigotry and to say "We don't support that behaviour in my town", then to Josh.

Give me a break.
It's a stunt. Josh knows the owners of the Trump towers could give a flying-fuck about what he thinks. It was a good opportunity for him to get press and some Twitter shares.

Yeah, I'm sure that's the way Sun Media will spin it for the mouthbreathes, but it's our politicians' jobs to speak out against outrageous behaviour.

As they do so often. At least this was for a good cause. Not sure why it has people frothing over it.
