Funny thing, Volvo never complains when people like myself change the programming in the car to improve performance and access the top possible speeds of our cars.
That's not changing the programming. That's only changing the fuel curve and spark advance tables, power train shift points or the speed limit variable.
You can't change the
code that implements that table or runs the fuel system or powertrain. Most manufacturers, like Toyota, don't even allow 3rd parties to access this information; it took Bullydog 5 years to 'black box' reverse engineer Toyota PCMs.
