If it was out cold and he's dragging it by the tail. why did he have to finish it off? Send a message to the other lynxes?

It was probably a good idea. A Lynx will normally steer very far from people. Sad, but if the Lynx is that bold as to attack a goat and not run away when inside a house, then it's going to be a big problem later.

Better to put it down now, than risk harm to others and have to put it down later.

What is it about Lynx this week?

Here's another one walking around in small town Ontario.

And the dingbat with the cell cam is following after it calling, "Kitty, kitty, kitty."

$1:
“I felt like a kid in a candy shop, you know when you see a really cool animal at the zoo or something,” she said. “So I just walked up to him and talked to him.”

Not everyone thought it was so cool.

“You’re lucky that lynx didn’t feel like playing,” posted someone named “Illusive.”

“It’s all fun and games right up until you lose your face,” added Igor Rebenko.

“What am I doing? I am not eating your face off right now that’s what I’m doing!” posted “supbrotv.”

It doesn't seem that wild Lynx attack humans.

I don't think there are too many people out there, rural or otherwise, who would appreciate seeing one of their pets or farm animals being gutted on their front porch or being dragged off into the bush by a lynx or any other predator. Although I don't agree, the easiest way to prevent this is to kill off the predators whenever you have the chance.

Isn't there like a 100 feet of snow up there? A starving animal will do the unexpected to grab a snack when ever it can.

Anyone who feels they need to kill the local wildlife "whenever they see one" needs to move to the city and never come back.
