The vast majority of Europe was against Germany and the few allies they had. Both times Germany was defeated. Thus vast majority of Europe united against a common enemy equaled a defeated enemy. What happened after the defeat of the common enemy is that European countries went right back to distrusting each other.

One could probably successfully argue that the post-WW2 intellectual and philosophical theories and policies, especially their suicidal views on mass immigration, have done as much damage to the European foundation as what the two wars against Germany did. 'House of cards' might be too generous a term to use in regards to Europe now. "Europa Erwache' would be genuinely awesome to see but it's probably not going to ever happen, no matter how hideous the Islam-based crimes and atrocities will get.

Bill Maher said it well in that video Thanos posted. Even to moderate Muslims; if you insult the prophet, you get what's coming to you. That would be 'death'.

Why hasn't CBC shown Prophet Muhammad caricatures?

Why do they refer to him as 'Prophet' Muhammad? He's only a prophet to Muslims. Jews and Christians reject his claim. Jews don't refer to Jesus as 'The Messiah'. Too much pussy footing and respect shown to a belief system and its founder that deserves derision and condemnation.
