The judge should award the ex costs for this frivolous lawsuit when he rules against her.

I had a similar situation in plant phys. when my partner had a breakdown and quit halfway thru the class. We were doing an experiment that counted for a fair chunk of the final mark. The profs were not too sympathetic, but I managed to pull it off. Ran into her years later and she was very apologetic.
