Hopefully it's a sign they are doing well and expanding their territory.

One of those pockets is in my neighborhood.

I see them fairly often swimming around in the small bay beside my house and last week saw a few of them climbing out of the water onto the rocks before losing sight of them in the trees/brush. No camera in hand of course, which was too bad as it was low tide and they were on the exposed rocks where I could have gotten a good shot. There seems to be a few of them that hang around here regularly. Not sure how many but I should ask a couple of the people who live on their boats in this bay if they might have an idea.
