She'd damned well better face criminal charges. Anyone who leaves their infant/toddler in a vehicle for any length of time does not deserve to keep that child. We need FAR stricter and harsher laws for this. Obviously we still have a bunch of morons that don't think endangering their child's life is a big deal.
