Why. It's inoffensive and slightly amusing. I'll take it over Sarah Silverman any day.
I just never found it funny. I suppose I'm a bit dead on inoffensive humour. Been seeing reruns since I can remmeber. It was so boring that it's made me upset. On my hands and knees praying they'd take it off the damn channel. Its still on there, I think.

I have to admit that people pissed off makes me grin ear-to-ear like a total troll. It just does. Makes me all giddy inside.

Family friendly stuff... Can't even get much of a chuckle, unless it's satire of itself, like "dad jokes".

Actually, Corner Gas was hilarious and not all that offensive.

OK, seeing as this thread has officially gone off the rails, let's look at one.

$1:
Why don't men get hemorrhoids?

Because they are all perfect assholes!

Now I'm a man, but I still think that's funnier than Silverman bragging about "Fucking Matt Damon", or offering to "Scissor a senator". And God...did anybody ever try to sit through an episode of that horrible television series. I made it through 2 minutes one time. Yay me.

Which t.v. Series?

I like the Canadian Amazon. Surprisingly usually cheaper than the American site.

All the reviews say 5 out of 5! (there's 2 reviews)

Oh my God, two crazed leftie loons are loose on the universe. There's 3 if you add Sarah (although she might be one of the two). In any case we must eradicate this disease before it spreads. :P

Brenda Brenda:
So Xort, I assume you don't want to pay for medication that prevents people from clogging their arteries because they eat food for more than one reason (survival) but because they LIKE food?
Do you not understand the difference between a totally optional very low cost medical treatment and life saving medication?

$1:
Or heart pills? Or blood pressure pills? Or nerve pain pills (hinting to Yogi here and all the people who responded to his questions about pain and pills)?
None of those medications are optional, or for recreation. The quality of life those medication provide is large enough to make them justified, to say nothing of prolonging life.

What you should be asking is, do I think the health care system should pay for beer so you can get drunk and be happy.

$1:
You know, because these people would like to do a bit more than just sit on the couch in pain? But everything else they would do would be recreational, right?
Hardly. You can live a full and productive life without birth control pills. It's not the same for people that would otherwise be living in agony, or just outright die.

That point aside, it is not like birth control pills are expensive by any measure, and long term treatments are even cheaper.

$1:
But boner pills are fine, right?

I'd rather they were not covered.

Gunnair Gunnair:
Completely failed to address the point. Predictable.

You had a point? Because it looked like you were just taking a roll down the slipper slope of irrationality. Feel free to reply with anything but a clarification of your point, wouldn't want to break your record now.

I don't like Sarah Silverman, loud, shrill and Jewish isn't my preference for comedy.

It pays for methadone, so there is the answer to your question.

But they are. Where is your outcry over that?
You just 'rather not have them covered', but when it comes to birth control, you whine up a storm?
Hypocrite, no?
When you start yelling and screaming they should be taken out, you may have a case. Unless you do that, stay the hell out of every woman's 'recreation'.

I don't believe he has any case, unless he actually births bicycles after a bike ride when he doesn't drink an energy drink. He'll have me on board when that's his living reality.

You do know what methadone is used for right?

$1:
But they are. Where is your outcry over that?
In the post you quoted.

$1:
You just 'rather not have them covered', but when it comes to birth control, you whine up a storm?

If we were talking about erectile dysfunction then I'd be talking about it. But as the topic is women that don't want to pay 10 to 50 dollars to avoid becoming pregnant I'm talking about that.

$1:
Hypocrite, no?

I'm more or less positive I have neither yelled, or screamed about anything. Rational communication is far more effective than irrational emotional outbursts.

At least unless you listen to SJW, in which case I'm deficient in my emotional intelligence because I try to only use logic and reason, rather than the power of the emotions I'm feeling.

Funny you should say that I should stay out of women's recreation, that is exactly what I want to do. But women want my money, so that means I'm part of it.

Can we turn the street lights off where Xort lives? Cut off his connection to the main sewer line, his hydro, his water and kick him off of every insurance policy he has? I do not want to spend a penny on this guy.

Thanks! :P

For Xort, sex should be expensive for women, and free for men. $50 for sex? Must be part of his slutshaming platform. If anyone on this forum would come out in support of female genital mutilation, it would be Xort, so as to make sure women feel no pleasure sexually. Then those gosh darn whores will stop opening their legs and expecting the state to pay for it!

In Xort's insistence that we enter the next age of unrestrained baby booming despite his heartfelt beliefs in nationalist socialism, he's going to "pay" for the raising of those kids! Which are much more expensive than some pills would be. Probably the biggest expense you could get, Xort, is another human being (or hundred thousand) onto your taxes. Because, of course, you won't want to pay for their education or health or whatever, because fuck everybody but yourself, so those kids will grow up fucked up too, causing even more inadvertent expenses on the system.

I can really see why you lost in that custody case with your superb level of nonchalant inhumanity. You expect people to appreciate your psychopathic attitude towards people, especially women? I'd encourage anyone to avoid conversing with you, as you'd only rip into them for whatever you think they cost you on your taxes. You see no human being, no worth in their existence, because that's all "emotional nonsense", so you only see them as a cost to you. All of the country, nothing but a cost to you. Oh woe is you, our great benefactor Xort.

Some people are very deeply absorbed into themselves.

Speaking of which, is there any way of coaxing you out of that golden tower of phony outrage in your head long enough to notice Xort is not saying he wants to manage anybody's sex life. I agree with him. I'm fine not being in other peoples' bedrooms, now stop asking us to pay for what goes on in there. I don't want to pay for anybody's viagra or abortion who isn't me or mine.

And produce the study that says places where birth control for women is financed by others have a smaller birth rate.

Just remember that it is Progresive way to have others pay for things but ensure that they have no say in the matter at all.

Women can have sex without using birth control pills. As I said before if you are having sex with different partners you should be using a condom to try and limit the spread of STD/STI.

$50 is generally the max someone would pay for birth control pills, generic brands sell for a lot less, about 1/4 to 1/5 the price for a monthly amount.

That's not expensive, and that's not even counting the much cheaper long term treatments.

$1:

If a baby boom was as easy as putting a $15-$50 dollar a month price tag on unprotected sex, developed nations wouldn't be selling out their futures to important labor in order to try and sustain economic growth with population growth.

$1:
Which are much more expensive than some pills would be. Probably the biggest expense you could get, Xort, is another human being (or hundred thousand) onto your taxes.
A fact that some women seem incapable of understanding, I might point out.

$1:
Because, of course, you won't want to pay for their education or health or whatever, because fuck everybody but yourself, so those kids will grow up fucked up too, causing even more inadvertent expenses on the system.
Their is a difference between liking something, and supporting something. I support a lot of institutions I don't like, because even a poor implementation is better than no public option at all. I don't like paying taxes, by I'm fully in support of paying them (in our current economic system). I don't like when the police overstep their bounds, but I support and pay for policing because it's better than the alternative.

Birth control, should be a monetary judgement call by women that are having sex without condoms or other birth control methods. That some women think that at the most $50 a month is too much to pay by themselves, is almost unbelievable. How much of a nanny state do you need to run your life and manage your money?

$1:
I can really see why you lost in that custody case with your superb level of nonchalant inhumanity. You expect people to appreciate your psychopathic attitude towards people, especially women?
If their was a male birth control pill I'd expect men would be paying for it themselves. If for no other reason than as a hedge against the massive costs they might cause by having unprotected sex with some girl that lied about being on the pill.

There is no psychopathy in want people to take personal responsibility for their actions.

$1:
Some people are very deeply absorbed into themselves.

Mirrors, pots and kettles.

Thanks for that, it warms my heart when someone pretends to play the stereotype just for me.
