What the authors of this study failed to point out was that James Bond was a member of Her Majesties Navy which in itself would explain the alcohol fueled sex binges and seemingly imperviousness to the effects of overindulgence.

Unfortunately, Cdr Bond wasn't born a Chief because, had he been he would have been able to conduct all his excessive overindulgences and dalliance's while still maintaining all the Military Discipline and Decorum required to keep the fleet afloat while, the wardroom of which he was part of, was out screwing up the Navy's squeaky clean image.
