I hope Japan has a chance to shoot it down.

GreenTiger GreenTiger:

$1:
Japan and South Korea, meanwhile, said they are prepared to shoot down any parts of the rocket that threaten to fall in their territory -- a move North Korea's Foreign Ministry warned would be considered a declaration of war.

It could also be the trigger that restarts the Korean War, do you also think that would be cool? I know that's not likely going to happen, but dealing with the North Korean crazies you never know.

Nothing like some thoughtless cheer leading.

Big difference this time though.

No Stalin supporting one of the mentally deficient North Korean leaders, Japan is a major player in the Pacific Militarily again, South Korea is prepared for Northern Agression and China likley won't let their puppet start a war that would destroy their economy.

The only body likely to back the North Koreans is the UN and we all know how that works.

The North Koreans are stupid just not that stupid. This is probably another blackmail attempt to get something for nothing to which the west will likely concede in the name of peace.

So you would like to see a successful launch?

It would be much cheaper for NK to use Russian rockets to send a satellite into space. This is nothing more than an attempt to build and test a delivery system for a nuclear warhead.

I would love to see it shot down, or even taken out on the launch pad.

Repercussions? I doubt it.

And a year or two from now we will see Iran testing rockets to send "satellites" into space.

Yeah, that's exactly what the post, "Nothing like mindless cheer leading" means - both figuratively and literally.

MENSA will be knocking on your door shortly after that reply.

So Gunnair... Narcissist, or just insecure? I'm just curious which it is?

You might want to check your meme because in the context of the cartoon you're citing Chicken Little was right.
