Because in Canadian elections unlike in Olympic Games, we don't have sophisticated technologies to detect and disqualify those making false starts.

I was choked with Harper's crime bills,He didn't even touch the Young Offenders Act. What's up with that??

We need to eliminate the YCJA altogther and send youth criminals to teen care centres so that they could be rehabilitated. Much better than the right-wing neocon view that teens need to be in prison.

I'm not right-wing but I think violent teen offenders belong in adult maximum security prisons.

Actually liberal voters are itching for an election. The Harper gov't has tabled some heavily right leaning bills for this fall, and has already passed several. Discomforting bills that make things more difficult.

I think big Liberal insiders are pulling for an election so they can get this defeat over with and move onto that leader replacement campaign. I think that the back room boys have made their choices and this time they will come out unified instead of the confused democratic selection that resulted in Dion.
