The fact that so many people are against the establishment should send a message to the politicians. It's too bad that so many people belittle and demean a group of people who are only protesting against what they see as a socialist incursion. :)

The hopey changey thingy isn't going over so well IMO, but I'm only a Canuck LoL

Well said.
The media and democrats will tell you these people are religious nuts and a variety of KOOKS. Many people parrot these ideas.
Not so.
The ones we have personal dealings with everyday are grandmas and grandpas who have worked all their lives.
They just want the government to leave them to enjoy their final years.
Retired police officiers, teachers, nurses, farmers, factory workers and just plain folks.
No different than you or I.
They are just fed up with the state the country and government are in.
Feel left out and talked at.
They feel the congress and president are not connected with the them or listening to them.

You forgot witches angler. Just plain folk who were witches.

What is wrong with the US right? First we had Palin, and now a teabagging witch who says masturbation is bad and hates gays?

You guys are making it easy for the lefties.

Pick some real leaders who are not idiots or bigots.

Yep. Just keep your government hands off my medicare. Shows the whole mindset and level of understanding right there. Add the word negro in front of government and I think it encapsulates the Teabaggers completely.

We have. But no matter who we pick as a leader for the right they will be portrayed as idiots or bigots by the media. That said, we really don't care anymore what the left thinks of our leadership. That's why you're seeing far more polarizing leaders coming up.

See, we took our note when McCain, previously the darling of the left, ran against Obama and suddenly had his love affair with the liberals go south on him.

We're done with moderates who try to make nice with the left while they attack and besmirch anyone on our side of the fence.

They wanted a war and they will have it. We're done being nice.

Quit nominating Idiots. As for McCain, he completely ditched his previous positions and went wholesale into Bush Idiocy. What do you expect the reaction to be?

Thanks for making my point. You mean you're a teabagger too? I thought you were Canadian? You go for all that "keep your govt hand off my medicare stuff" too? We don't even have a negro for prime minister. Guy can't dance, guy can't jump.

I meant no offense to you, by the way. It's just that the left has been pretty consistent in recent years in calling people like McCain names after saying how much they loved him.

From my point of view cuddling up to leftists is pointless. Be it a moderate conservative or a right-wing conservative, leftists aren't going to vote for them anyway so why bother trying to please them?

I will seriously give the left credit on this, for the most part your side wastes no time trying to cuddle up to the right wing. They stay on message and on point and they generally maintain the loyalty of their base by sticking to principle.

The conservative leadership, on the other hand, demands loyalty from the base while straying far, far away from principle.

The GOP demanding that Republicans not support the Tea Party is an example of this.

O'Donnell may well be a loon, but the GOP Old Guard is no more worthy of respect or loyalty than she is. IMHO, so what if she was a witch? I'd vote for a practicing Odin worshipper if they stuck to their conservative values and I think I speak for a lot of people on my side of this right now. I'll take a crazy, but mostly honest conservative over a moderate and insincere Republican neo-con any day.

If by left you mean the democrats, then I dont agree. What I've seen time and time again is the democrats trying for consensus and the right just demonizing them. It's worse with Obama, but has been going on for a long time.

I just find it funny that Republicans are saying that O'Donnell is a victory of the people because it what Republicans voted for. Yet only 30% of Republicans voted in the primary in Delaware.
