Wada Wada:
I don't recall saying they were. And I won't stoop to the level you think you can provoke me to.

Where's the provocation? You stated:
"I suppose it would be too much to suggest the government simply HONOR any and all Treaties that have been established and any established in the future, rather than call on the government to pursue a course of trying to steal as much as possible and protecting their advantage with the military. If you truly want this resolved then call on your government to simply do the "Right" thing. The honor of your country is at stake."
This thread is about the Mohawks. There was no treaty, the Mohawks have been in Upper Canada/Ontario as long as the United Empire Loyalists and were given land grants, along with the Loyalists, for services to the Crown in the Revolutionary War.
Like the Loyalists, over time, the Mohawks sold off their lands. If we are to give the Mohawks this land back then we should do the same to the descendents of the Loyalists.
I pointed this historical fact out to counter your passionate, but over simplified view on the whole native issue.
We are talking about Mohawks here and I am merely pointing out the facts, which you seem to be unaware of.
If that's provocative then your skin is way to thin matey. Got an emoticon for 'thin-skinned'?
