HyperionTheEvil HyperionTheEvil: DerbyX DerbyX: So yes, the Liberals did indeed break the laws on the above 3 years by not properly informing parliament of its intention to change the rate. Glad to finally see you confess , that your party has been found guilty in breaking our countries laws which still flies in the face of $1: The liberals did great You still have a serious discinnect though, you agree that they are guilty and sill claim they did great. Derb never denied that first fact you state. You seem to forget they only did not inform parliament, while they should. Ya think if they did, it would have changed? Neither do I.

You just can't help yourself can you? You are looking like such a coward by running away from my simple yet "loaded" questions. You look even more pathetic by failing to even understand my answer and trying to claim some sort of crybaby claim of disconnect. Off you go now sunshine. On yer bike.

You reused to answer a question without demanding i answer yours first. Mine was very simple , did the liberals break the law. You had a heaping dose of partisan 'they did it too". Fortunately i kept the topic on hand. You finally admitted it, and now you hypocricy is clear because even though you now admit they broke the law, they still great. Er.....any party that breaks finance law and then trunpets how good they were at finance?

So you still can't seperate the 2? Derb never said he agreed with that, right? So, that stage is passed, you can stop blaming Derb. Next point, they paid off a debt, and lowered the percentage everyone has to pay. It is still low, right? So how can you say they didn't do great?

oh boy.
this is starting to smell like rotten potatoes.
I think it is fair to say all politicians are hypocrites. Primarily because when in oppossion they take their job to seriously, then when they form the government they do what they were complaining about.
That is why I don't like that term. I don't think it is wrong to support a bill that is GOOD for the nation. On any subject, whether it is legal, social, financial etc. If it is good, I would rather see an oposition member stand up and say, you know, it isn't perfect but we like this and this and we will support it.
It really does look bad when the liberals SCREAMED about budgets in past yet eneded up either supporting it or just not showing up. To me, that is the WORST type of hypocrite because you have the ability to take action and choose not to.
And I freely admit ALL parties are guilty of this however, you must admit the 4 or 6 (whatever it was) complete absences by the Liberals takes the cake.

Same reason he won't admit Harper is a hypocrite for doing what he complained about. Same reason he won't admit that Chretien and Martin are obviously innocent of adscam. Same reason he won't admit the liberals were prefectly right to use the EI fund to pay down the debt and .... Its the same reason he won't admit I busted his ass on his statement that the Liberals illegally balanced the budget when the supreme court acknowledged they did it legally up till 2002 and by then the budget was balanced and debt being repaid...he is an intellectual coward!

Pretty sad Derby. Pretty sad that you can't even agree with the highest legal authoity in the country because you're party loyalty comes first. I guess this shows that self professed, grassroots Liberal supporters believe their party's actions are above the law.
When's the election.

They made it harder for people to collect EI and reduced peoples benefits. The EI fund should first and foremost be used for it's intended purpose and then can be used for reducing the debt.

We shouldn't call politicians hypocrites when they act that way? I think thats the problem. They act that way because we too readily allow them too. Each side revels in their party sticking it to the ruling party regardless of whether they are right or not. We all get the govts we deserve.
