Denigrating a fellow Canadian is your form of equality and that's not equality. Not wishing to honour your forefathers commitments is not honourable. Accusing them of being terrorists when they use the white man's tactics to protect what is theirs is fraudulent.

If your not part of the solution then your part of the problem.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Donny_Brasco Donny_Brasco:
I'll take that bet. The measure is if the claim is settled or won in court - point for me. If the claim is rejected point for you. $1000.00 a point now until what...2018?

Or would you like to change the rules - scared that your own system is not fair?
I'm not scared that it's unfair, I know it's unfair. The rules do need to be changed. You wouldn't want them to be changed because you are plenty happy knowing you are treated better than any other Canadian citizen. You don't want equality, it's all about you.

You are too happy enjoying your Native life with no responsibilities thanks to constant never-ending whining and complaining.

Well I don't think being the poorest of the poor is "enjoying life".

Treated better then every Canadian citizen...how about me applying for a job working for you or Shepherdsdog...you think your bigotry, hostility and racism won;t effect my chances of landing a job and keeping it.

You think Native employees of bigots like you enjoy hearing how they are spoiled, on welfare, drinking lysol, getting handouts etc...?

Do you think my job should be any harder then the employee beside me who thinks I don;t pay taxed because you and your ignorat mouth rants on about how I don;t pay taxes?

Should I be subject to your hostility in the workplace when all I want to do is get a job and feed my family?

Of course not, nut your ignorance and your unwillingness to see our side of the picture creates more problems and works against the same things you are complaining about.

So instead of solving anything, your bigotry and ignorance makes things worse for everyone except you.

Because if you didn't have Natives (or gays or immigrants or whomever) to complain about or look down upon, well, you'd have nothing to do.

For wanting to reduce him to the same status as I? The same status as every Canadian? Actually, it is equality. I'm not trying to lower him to a lower status then me, I'm not suggesting we make them suffer, I'm suggesting we make them Canadians. Why don't you see that? My form of equality is for all Canadians and all citizens of this country be treated the same without Racist, Sexist, Or otherwise Discriminatory and specifying biases, good or bad.

That's a fine thing to say after having stole their lands, destroyed their culture and treated them like dogs, hell worse than dogs for over a hundred years. Now you want them to be equal. Right fucking big of you. Why not instead spend some time this summer living with a local tribe and discover what they bring to this nation your so proud of.

Ok, so if you want to treat us the same then why can't you advocate for the return of lands that were ours - but were stolen.

We signed a treaty to share the land - land was set aside for us - that land was illegally taken by fraud or theft.

If you want equality then you should be advocating for this sort of fairness.

$1:

Well my AIM friend, like I've stated in a previous post, I'm against race based hiring. I'd want to see the position filled by the best educated and qualified individuals. I've worked primarily in two fields, education and engineering. You've heard my opinion, based on experience, about many of the graduates from programs that specifically target the native population. Watered down tripe that is spoon fed to guarantee the appearance of success.

As for the field of engineering I've worked with plenty of Indian graduates, only thing is they are the original Indians. People with a work ethic who place value on an education and self reliance. I've only worked with two native engineers, both you'd likely sneer at and call apples because they believe the same things I do about programs targetting natives.
