Ahh, I see. Sorry, not quoting Lemmy made it sound like you were doing the whole "Oh but blah blah blah did it too!" bullshit over the actual NDP deputy leader's comments, specifically because of the first sentence you stated:

"I voted NDP, and I'm not so worried about about the glitches that are going to come acorss the first little while."

Of course I can believe that politicians will lie over major military/foreign affairs issues. I find that to be a status quo in politics, just was confused to who you were addressing exactly. My apologies.

No need for apologies. And if i ever pull the "conservatives did it too" line I expect to be called on it!

On Thursday morning, Mulcair said the context of the conversation had been lost, and that he was referring to whether a photo of Osama Bin Laden reaching for his gun exists or not.

Far from being a conspiracy theorists anyway. Seems the right is getting their panties in a bunch over nothing again.

ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

Bullshit. He, we all know exactly what they were talking about photo of his corpse, period.

Obama said he has seen photos of bin Laden's corpse but releasing those photos would be akin to peddling gruesome trophies. Mulcair was doubtful.

"I don't think from what I've heard that those pictures exist," Mulcair said during an appearance on Power and Politics.

He is saying Obama is a liar , makes him a truther. The NDP is full of truthers. Whats wrong I thought you guys loved Obama ?

The CBC changed to the right? Seems they're playing games with their headlines again though.
Doubting if photos exist of him drawing or going for a weapon isn't a big deal.
I'm pretty sure in that circumstance the first instinct would be to shoot, and I don't mean a photo.
But the way the CBC has reported this, is sounds like these are 2 different issues and that he also doesn't believe there are any pics of him at all.
So, we're left with 2 possibilties here. Either he doesn't believe ANY photos exist, or your comment about the right and their panties is just more partisan hackery if it's the CBC intentionally playing with the story.

Or the third choice is the right is getting their panties in a bunch because clearly that is what happened and the media got the context wrong.
