Yogi Yogi:
According to this evenings newscast. ....has two tumors. One one his back and one one his brain. They didn't elaborate. Hopefully, we will see justice done soon. One way or the other!

Knowing our justice system, his lawyer will make it look like the tumours caused abnormal behaviour and that's what caused him to do it. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Thanks for the update Yogi.

And PCC, you are holding him to too high of a standard calling him a chunk of navel lint. He is more like the speck of dirt in the deepest crevice under that chunk of navel lint.

Hopefully he will get the judge that is not the norm and he is severely punished.

Yeah, I know Trav but I didn't want Hyack addin' another stripe added to my rainbow so I was sensoring myself.

ROTFL Glad to help you out then :)

Yogi:
I agree with your analysis :) Hopefully before it goes to trial so they cannot aquit him saying that it was the tumor putting pressure on the part of his brain that controls actions, etc.

I just read on a left wing blog, left wingers bashing the family for being evangelical...

Don't reference crap like that, Show it.
Any crap like that needs to be beaten down as fast as it surfaces.
I shudder to imagine that any here would use such an argument, be they religious, racial or whatever.

I hope the cops don't find him. I hope someone who knows he's the one and knows what justice means find him instead.

Wouldnt doubt that either...and this fucker will get faster and better treatment for his tumours (if they are cancerous) than any of us sitting on the outside

No one will ever convince me that 'there is no place in todays society for capital punishment'!

OMG! That sick freak was originally from Quesnel? That sucks.

And yes, Yogi - I do believe there are instances where it should come into play. And rightfully so.

Not that it will bring that family their babe back, but at least there would be a rock solid guarantee that he could NEVER do it again.

Thanks, Hyack. But ya know - he really isn't worth the time or effort, is he?

I just get SO pissed when I read things like this. It could have just as easily been one of my son's friends. And - I know what it's like to go through something similar to that. It's pure freaking HELL. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Lets hope that he hangs on JUST long enough to be convicted of Emily's murder and as well long enough to be cleared/convicted in his ex-wifes Aunts murder. 'JUST LONG ENOUGH...'!

Enough with the death penalty already. Jeez, friggin barbaric.

Life in jail is a far more cruel punishment. Want to really inflict pain. Sentence the cute to 25 Years of complete solitary confinement. Then 5 year probation at a federal prison, if behavior is good, he can remain at the federal prison until death.

There are so many more suited punishments than the rope. I'd suggest you read a compilation of essays by Kurt Vonnegut called "fates worse than death".

I think that it was you whom I responded to earlier by saying that 'I have no problem being considered a barbarian in view of my UNWAVERING stance on the death penalty.

Kurt Vnnegut writes about OTHER PEOPLES situations. I speak from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE! If you don't like my opinions, that's just too damn bad. Don't read them!

In Africa they do street justice. When they find killers they usually beat them and set them on fire, on the street. In some Islamic societies where Sharia law is implemented they have institutionalized street justice. If that is the society you wish to live in, I feel sorry for you.

I prefer to live in a civilized society. I agree fully that our laws need to be tougher when dealing with murderers, but calling out street justice is not the best way to go about it.

EVERY PERSON in a CANADIAN PRISON today can actually EXPECT to be released BACK ONTO OUR STREETS!

*** DAVID SHEARING; MURDERED TWO LITTLE GIRLS, THEIR PARENTS AND MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS!

Released recently to a Calgary halfway house. IS THIS THE KIND OF SOCIETY YOU WANT TO LIVE IN AND RAISE A FAMILY IN?

If so, then I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!

No one who brings harm to a child should be allowed to live.

Period.
