DerbyX DerbyX:
Sorry but being a left winger doesn't make me an anti-conservative anymore then jokes.

$1:
But you're not anti-conservative, just a narrow minded soul who is as much a mouthpiece for the Liberals as some here are for the Conservatives. But you like to think and tell everyone how open minded you are. Sorry Derby, at least I'm honest about my dislike of the Liberal party and admit I will never vote for them due to past actions of them, you aren't.

Narrow-minded eh? In the same sentence you admit your own narrow-mindedness you fail to prove your accusation against me.

I have always given my reasons for voting as I do and always annotated it with reasons for not voting another party. Sounds pretty honest to me.

Your real problem is that you hate the fact I support the Liberals even though you don't like them.

Sorry for your luck.

Nice lefty double talk. So equating a "Completely Fucking Retarded' medal with the conservative party or right wingers isn't biased. The post is proof in itself, even if you are in denial about yourself.

I personally have no problem with your support of any particular party, I have problems with your hypocritical "moral high ground" about others being party mouth-pieces when you are just as guilty. If you are honestly as stupid as you sound here trying to defend your indefensible post, nothing I can say will sway your opinion. If you are merely being an obtuse ass, again, nothing I say can sway your opinion.

Like I said, I can admit I dislike the Liberal party for personal reasons, and most of the people I served with in certain units within the Forces agree with me 100%. By the way, I didn't say I would only vote Conservative, just not Liberal. Hardly the definition of narrow-minded.

You routinely defend the Liberals against any and all accusations, even if they are guilty. The same thing you rant and rave at Ridenrain about in reference to the Conservatives.

You can now partake in the action that you recommend to others and "On yer bike".

Its called humour. Learn it.

If you actually took the time to read you would see that when I attack its because the usual hacks are holding all the other parties accountable for the very actions their party does that they support.

The EI fund is a prime example. People here are still bitching about the Liberals doing it yet nary a word is said that Harper is and is continuing to do it. Am I attacking Harper? Nope. In fact I've explained why it isn't wrong, a theory that apllies to both.

The list goes on and on. Fail.

Then by your own definition neither am I as I have already stated reasons why I won't vote NDP and the reasons why I would vote NDP. Again you fail.

All in all a rather piss-poor post from somebody who just got pissed off that he read another post from me defending the Liberals yet never ever seems to complain about the 1000X more crybaby anti-Liberal posts from the usual suspects.

Try again.

When you condemn the Liberal party for their illegal law-breaking fund raising and not dismiss it as "bending the rules" I'll recant, until then you're just a mouth piece.

Why the fuck should I care what the people who insult all Liberals day in and day out think?

AS for what you think, well you know that anger you feel every time you read about me defending the Liberals? That anger. The same goes for me listening to all the whiny crybaby fucktards bitching yet again about the Liberals.

$1:

Nice try hypocrite.

Fail. I can't make you understand but whatever hypocracy you ascribe to me is only magnified in yourself by your very own definition.

$1:
Hardly, it's wrong period.

I doubt you even understand the issue let alone truly think that. Regardless, the point is that those who oppose it oppose it soley from the Liberals as we are still hearing the compaints about them despite the reality that Harper has been doing the same thing since he tok the reins.

So your official position then is Harper is guilty of stealing billions from the EI fund, billions that he used to lower taxes or make military purchases or fund healthcare ..... ?

$1:
When you condemn the Liberal party for their illegal law-breaking fund raising and not dismiss it as "bending the rules" I'll recant, until then you're just a mouth piece.

Like this:
$1:
As for the funding issue, it certainly broke the spirit of the law if not the letter. They likely thought they were being creative but its hardly any different then funding issues the CPC were blackmarked when they were breaking the spirit of the law.

In other words I was saying that even if they were not breaking the letter of the law they were still breaking the spirit of the law. In other words they were wrong to try it.

You probably read "bent" where I clearly said "break".

I await your recantation.

but you didn't hear about it on the CBC.

Of course it wasn't on the CBC, it was the Liberal party not the conservative party. This would be big time news followed up with demands for public inquiries if it were the conservatives.

Life's tough without an EI fund to draw from. :?

An EI fund they used exclusively for the debt thereby saving you personally at least several thousand dollars if not far more over the last decade or so.

In addition you should be more concerned with Harper now because his gov't is using the fund in exactly the same manner.

Are you bothered by the use of the EI fund or simply bothered that it was the Liberals who used it?

If the landlord wants to take money out of my cookie jar, so I can save on rent, he can go fuck himself.

1) Then your fight is with Harper.

2) By using the EI fund they saved you personally several thousand dollars that you would never have gotten back and that is regardless of you having collected EI in the last decade or so or not.

An Employment Insurance paid for by workers who had a hard time accessing it yet it's ok for the libs to dip into it because their motives were pure?(pay down the debt) Give me a break.

Yet its perfectly OK for Harper to do so? You are becoming a tin foiler in your own right. I think you have spent to much time arguing blasting detritus and trying to defeat conspiracy nonesense with logic.

Access to EI is different from using the surplus to lower peoples taxes. I find it hypocritical that one of the biggest complaints (or misconceptions as they are commonly known) against the Liberals in terms of government is that they somehow presided over a welfare state where people where so generously funded by the tax payers that they didn't bothering looking for work yet when the Ei fund is mentioned then the "draconian" restrictions on claims is suddenly touted by those who accuses them of doling out money to the unemployed on a generous vote buying scheme.

Ziggy, you personally, were saved several thousand dollars if not more by the Liberals lowering your taxes using the money you paid into an EI fund that you were never ever going to collect anyway.

Have you been unemployed in the last 15 years and denied EI?

I have and have personally wittnessed hundreds if not thousands of others who were denied. The coal market was not exactly rosy the last 15 years, lots of rotating shutdowns of 2 weeks duration per month for sometimes a year.So legally your not laid off.The one who did get the big one had to pay it back the next three years anyways,it's called a clawback clause and they have no problem telling you that.

Your telling me the libs saved me 2 grand and you call me a foiler.

Sorry to drag up a post from a few pages back but oilfield workers were also specifically targeted. We are seasonal workers and as such were denied EI. Mean while fishermen from down east were still entitled to EI. Here’s the funny part, when the fishing industry was slumping all the newfie’s (excuse the slang) came here to work, once they had enough time banked they would all quit and go back home and sit on pogey. It was almost funny, mid February 80% of the newfie’s on the job would just up and take off. Mean while the workers from Alberta would stick around until break up (April) and be denied EI. Go figure.
