A question I have is as I understand it Islam thinks that they the only true religion and the rest of us are kaffirs. Why would they even consider praying in a church. Even in Christainity Roman Catholics cannot share communion with Anglicans.

Would that not present a problem for both faiths?

Don't knock it if you've never tried it.
It is very good, and I'd be surprised if nobody else here has tried it.
I eat snails too... I've tried turtle, snake, assorted insects and jellyfish too.

Oh no I'm very paticular about food,I know what I like and what I don't like. Don't like among other things rice, seafood and noodles. If I don't like and feel squirmish about regular sea food I doubt I'll like or ever eat stuff like snails and jelly fish

That building was originally a church, then converted to a mosque around 800 a.d.,
after the islamic conquest of Spain.

Cordova was the capital of islamic Spain, and the converted church
was one of the more important mosques .



After the Christians took Spain back, that building was changed back to a church,
probably around 1200 - something.



So now this group wants to start using it as a mosque again, in the hopes
of driving the Christians out.



As to the method:


Many areas in Southeast Asia and Africa are having a problem with Muslim minorities.
Everything starts off ok, but then there starts an aggressive campaign of conversion and immigration; as the islamic percentage increases, they make more and more demands of the majority community.

I mentioned Temple Mount earlier; it used to be Jewish, you'll

If you read a bit about countries like the Phillipines, Malaysia, Nigeria,
than you start to see just aggressive Islam really is.

No Martin I didn't dodge the temple, but if you notice I try to totally ignore you. Your question was answered but your still having difficulty with comprehending what you read. I'll repeat, get over the past. That means what is today, IS.

Its a Curch today and stays a curch in Spain. Same with the temple mount, but ofcourse more than the Israelis or the Jews its the bible bashers of the US that want that to be changed. Because rebuilding of the temple is the start of armageddon which ofcourse leads to rapture as many are just itching to meet the lord in heaven.
