She is opposed to stem cell research because she she feels they are attemting to make animals with human DNA. This was from an interview 3 years ago.

Then again she sounds like US Congressional material compared to what is there she would fit right in.

A lot of people feel that stem cell research could lead to weird life forms... they might not be all that off the mark. I'm not against it, but, who knows what they could eventually come up with...

I think stem-cells can at worst make younger clones of the donor animal.

And calling your younger clone an animal with human DNA might make it sound better to harvest his precious organs... but uh... pretty sure thats murder.

And I'm pretty sure even saying "animal with human DNA" is advocating genocide.

Like Jews, that other kind of animal with human DNA. Except without the soul that makes it a human and not an animal?

See how that works?

Oddly I seriously hope not but I kind of hope so at the same time. If such a case ever occurred I suspect religious war may be inevitable.

I hope the Teabaggers do take power in the US. I'm getting tired of watching them slide down ever so slowly, can't take the tension. Unleash the fruit cakes, I say, and let's see what can be built out of the resulting rubble. I figured Americans hadn't been spanked hard enough by the recession. Time for the other hand to fall I guess.

Liberals are not the only game in town. And, that is a very good thing.

For good, bad or both the Tea Party has fired up interest in where and how the USA will move on and out of her problems.
To bad mouth and belittle another idea will not help anyone.
Here in the US of A we still have a strong base of, I'll Take Care of Myself,
States Rights folks.
People who do not choose to have D.C. giving us handouts.Or doing our thinking and spending for us.

Yeah, but look what happens when people like you think for yourself.

On a more serious note, the fact that Fox News and Tea Party henchmen can pick candidates based on their extremism rather than say, intelligence, is a frightening prospect.

How many more mini-Palins can they shunt into elections this fall? Should I just burn my copy of Origin of Species now before The Finger comes to drag me away?

I liked the Bill Clinton interview turned speech. His convincing optimism is very good at butchering fear.

The fact that so many people are against the establishment should send a message to the politicians. It's too bad that so many people belittle and demean a group of people who are only protesting against what they see as a socialist incursion. :)

The hopey changey thingy isn't going over so well IMO, but I'm only a Canuck LoL
