Anarchists are not just Vandals, they're Idealists who use Protests to attempt to forment violence to bring down the Government and other Institutions they deem as evil. Personally I like the idea of making Masks and other Identity obscuring attire Illegal at Protests. Wouldn't be a perfect solution, but many of those Idiots would think twice before causing trouble.

Real anarchists wouldn't use violence to protest violence. These are people who, if they are claiming to be anarchists, have no idea what that means. If their intent is to make the world less violent, they should be the change they want to see in the world.

That's very true. A protester said to a journalist "if we don't break things, you won't talk about us."

Also, not sure if you had noticed, every year, LCN and TVA have a special broadcast in advance (usually the day before) leading up to this yearly protest. They spend hours broadcasting on it. They have guests, usually in favour of these protests.

All the while the other news stations such as CTV Montreal and Global Quebec, only report on the event after the fact and for only a few minutes. And that's the way it should be done.

The city of Montreal should probably ask for permits. Only then would the protesters cooperate. The city is way too tolerant to these types of idiots. Also, they should put a stop to most ''unionized'' (manifs syndicales) protests too while at it. Or have the media simply ignore them.
