The NDP is only going to cyphon off Liberal votes that would otherwise help the Libs. The Bloq is becoming more irrelevant each day, Gilles Duceppe is smart but he's fighting a losing game and most Quebecers know that. That leaves is down to two parties like it has always been.
The NDP is about as relevant as the Lobster Party or the Rhino's why they even run I have no idea. For the people that like them it must be extremely frustrating to be continuously placed as also rans in a Federal Election. I actually like the NDP because the kill off Lib votes.

Dion is the next Prime Minister, like it or not. The west was, is, and will always be inferior politically to the almighty Eastern Canada.

Another election will likely result in another minority government, probably Conservative. I don't think that the Liberals can win with Dion--he's got the brains and the perserverance, but lacks communication and charisma. Harper is a good administrator with a clear vision, but he reminds people too much of Bush, and he's got no environmental platform.

I'm kind of liking the Conservative minority. The party is too laced with idealogues to handle a majority in my opinion.
