Sure, sure. A vehicle that weighs at least 50% more, presents a much larger face to the wind and has an engine that is over 2 1/2 times as large gets almost the same fuel efficiency. Canada posts fuel efficiency numbers, you may want to compare vehicles.

Compare the price of premium vs regular and driving a Prius doesn't mean you're saving the World in fact it's the opposite. There are cars that burn fuel faster than a truck, didn't you know that?

Of course there are cars that burn fuel faster than a truck. Your VW isn't one of the them. In Vancouver it costs about 10% more for premium. No way your truck uses only 10% more fuel than that VW. But keep kidding yourself if that's what it takes.

Thanos Thanos:
Never said that you were doing it yourself. You've got over a hundred MP's down there that you assign the task of screwing over the rest of the country. They're making a living out there that we don't like (clutches pearls)! Stop them!

Never heard it here in Ontario....the only person I hear with this nonsense from is you.

Even still, get over it and move on.

You're not the first guy in a sticky situation with your career and job.

My VW burned fuel faster than my truck because of my driving style and the cost to fill them both full was about the same. Most trucks now have an Eco mode which goes out the window if you drive hard. As Delwin said it comes down to what you're using it for and if you modify a truck, raising it etc it will defintely burn through fuel faster like the trucks I've seen for sale at $100,000. 8O

You don't seem to get the idea of comparing apples to apples. As such, your claim doesn't generalize and does't really mean anything except to you.

Or the car I thought of getting which is no different than the truck.

2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution:
Fuel Economy17/23 mpg

The 2015 Ram 1500 capitalizes on a truckload of exclusive, pioneering, fuel-saving systems, including: eight-speed automatic transmission, stop-start system, thermal management system, pulse-width modulation and active aerodynamics with grille shutters and air suspension.

______

Based on my style of driving the cost of premium vs regular guess which one I filled more often, if I had a Raptor well different story. 8O
