She can't be charged with distributing as she did not distribute anything. The creating thing is slightly more possible, but still very unlikely. The law is an ass, but there are limits to just how much of one.

You are assuming that she took those pictures for her own enjoyment. It's more likely they were for a boyfriend whom she "distributed" them too.

Whoever was on the other side of the camera in the photos which weren't self taken would also be guilty.

Anyway, I'm pretty convinced BRAH made that up out of thin air.

I've heard it too. Not Jennifer Lawrence's pics, but that some of the other leaked ones are of people who were underage at the time. I guess someone would have to look at the date coding on the pic to be sure.

FWIW I'm a bit leery myself. The cynic in me thinks it might be a subtle way to discredit the hacker and force people to take the photo's off their sites. But then there's this:

Hmm, thank you, that does sound legit. McKayla Maroney has only been 18 for 8 months so all of her photos would have to had been taken within the last 8 months.

She said she was 16 at the time and her boyfriend who took them was also 16.

Many media sites have ran them, I wonder what the implications are.

They would have to prove that they didn't know she was underage. Keeping them up after the fact is asking for a lot of trouble.

I don't think it's even that. It's more that these are pictures were weren't ever supposed to see. These are private photos, not a pictorial in Playboy.
