A little irony in this morning's events in Boston:

A vehicle that was carjacked early Friday morning by the suspects of Monday’s terrorist bombing of the Boston Marathon has the “COEXIST” sticker affixed to its bumper.

Yep. One of them wrote that he didn't have a single American friend and didn't understand them. This isn't much different than the Adam Lanza story, it seems. Young guys feeling alienated and not getting laid enough. If young women would just step up and screw a loser for the good of the country we'd get a lot less of this shit.

These guys are not Adam Lanza. The older one was a very successful amateur boxer with a girlfriend/wife (not sure which) and a 3 year old daughter. The younger was a wrestler for his high school and has been seen in photos with lots of friends.

I know one fact: if you fight the cops with bombs and fully-auto weapons, they deploy everything.

The most amazing part? All of these cops are conducting a manhunt and no civilians have been killed. I'm glad this didn't happen in Los Angeles.

In Los Angeles the perps would have stolen the Mercedes SUV and the cops would've shot up every last Jeep Grand Cherokee in SoCal.

In the same vein, my concern about all of that hardware on the loose is that there is a very real potential for the police and military to hurt innocent civilians. With the police they're just never all that experienced with using such weapons and with the military their first priority is protecting their unit and to hell with civilians.

Another concern is that there's a very strong possibility of blue-on-blue shooting in these kind of situations. Too many boots on the ground using disparate comm nets can lead to a major clusterf*ck.
