I haven't seen anything particularly nasy from DD at all. He may not agree with everthing we say, but he seems to be quite a good guy. I like the fact that there is a Muslim from that are that I can ask questions. Getting the American version of what Muslims from the Middle East think get a little distorted in the translation.

DD is a good member of this site.

While Abbas and I went at it like cats and dogs on the forum, we also got along really well and I frankly considered the guy a friend after a fashion. Outside of the Islam vs. Everyone Else topics Abbas and I got along just great.

He was an unapologetic Soldier of Allah and he had my abiding respect for that. The guy stood to his beliefs and didn't lie to anyone about being moderate. At the same time, he gave due respect to the people on the board who also stood to their beliefs.

I was really sorry to see him get banned and I really, truly, hope that wherever he is he's safe and doing well.

It was kind of ironic that your muslim friends got banned on this stie because the prevailing opinion at the time was that all muslims were cuddly, friendly people and that I was a bigot for thinking otherwise. I really wanted to keep them around because they proved me right on an almost daily basis. Seriously, I petitioned the moderators to keep Salad head on here along with one other guy whose name I forgot.

See, it saves me a lot of time and effort to state what a monstrosity islam is when I can just sit back and let muslims educate the masses for me.

My posts may well be considered baiting, but sometimes you have to provoke a response in order to get a direct answer as opposed to the oblique answers muslims tend to provide for sensitive topics.
