Maybe, but if you ask most people east of Saskatchewan, they all seem to think it was just a regional party, despite the fact that they ran candidates in alot of eastern ridings.

Not that it matters but, if they ran Candidates in every riding in Ontario why didn't Guergis run for them instead of the Harris Conservatives?

Since she didn't seems to, indicate that it wasn't the Reform party doctrine or policy she was enamoured with but rather, what benefits and perks she could get out of being an MLA and now an MP, just like her future husband.

I agree FOG. Like most MP's she's just another insincere sales-guy. They are all so full of shite all the time. To add to it she was promoted above her technical ability.

Somebody mentioned about Jaffer's talk radio stunt. He should have been booted then. They kept him around purely because he's brown.

Yeah, he should have been booted way back when, but like you said, they kept him around simply because when anyone called Reform racist, all they had to do was point and say, "Rahim Jaffer".

Of course, it also helped that he won three or four straight elections in the the heart of Redmonton (Strathcona), which is home to an awful lot of those terrible lefties. Whyte Ave coffe shops just seems to be overrun with them on weekends!
