No, I anticipated that response and I don't think that's a joke at all. If I were making the rules, the kids WOULD have to stay inside the building for the entire day. If they want a cigarette or grease-ball burger, they'd have to wait until
3:30pm to get it. Then their behaviours are their parents' responsibility, not the school system's.

Well, that may be true to some degree, but I think it was more of a convenience-thing than a conspiracy to separate teenagers from their money. It wasn't an issue 25 years ago when I was a highschool kid because we weren't all fat. We were active.
