$1: I dunno. I guess I'm not understanding your point. My point was that the opposition has no problem yakking on with accusations that paint the entire country in a really poor light when the evidence clearly shows that Canada reacted any time there was actual evidence.
That's the entire point of being Opposition, to question the gov't (and propose alternatives). If Iggy learn that instead sucking up and offering none he would actually get some support. However questioning the patriotism of anyone who doesn't agree 100% is about the lowest, cheesiest form of politics and Harper's sunk to that every time he can. It worked for US Reptilians for 8 years, he thinks it will work here. It's not the troops getting tarnished, it's the decision makers.

I agree. $1: It worked for US Reptilians for 8 years, he thinks it will work here. It's not the troops getting tarnished, it's the decision makers. Stop. Please just stop trying to compare the CPC and Harper with the Republicans and Bush. There is no comparison. The CPC is not the first, only, or last to use patriotism as a club to browbeat the other parties. It's as standard as it is stupid. Chretien used it. Trudeau used it. Everyone sooner or later tries it. When you constantly gravitate to the popular yet flawed comparisons to the Republicans, imo, and no offense, but you end up like you've been simply duped by Liberal 2006 attack ads where they hit you over and over and over again with their " we're about to elect the most American PM in our history"....something they keep their mouth shut about now that they've brought Iggy from the US.

And we did. Even Mulroney had some of his own policy. Bush or Obama, Harpo doesn't care. Tongue up their ass because their the Glorious Yanks. And you'll never get me to admit the Libs are much better, but they know the importance of an occasional NO over a constant YASSUH!!

I'll remember this particular line of horseshit from you for the next election when the Liberals run another series of "troops in the streets" ads claiming that Harper is some sort of neo-fascist.
