Brenda Brenda: JustKate JustKate: RUEZ RUEZ: This man should never walk the street again. I don't care if it's in a jail or a psychiatric facility. He needs to pay for taking that young mans life. This monster should be sent back to China! You can't send him back if he is a citizen. Is he a citizen?

Brenda Brenda: JustKate JustKate: Brenda Brenda: Revoke his citizenship! He's done enough harm in this country, why should we pay to look after garbage like this? LOL You can't revoke citizenship. The moment an immigrant becomes a citizen, (s)he is Canadian. Period. No matter what nationality (s)he had before. Well the law will stay the same as long as we accept it right? All mental cases every where, come to Canada and we will look after you even if you brutally kill us.

IF he is an immigrant and not born here (I forgot that part, someone maybe enlighten me?), he should never have gotten his Permanent Residency, imo. You have to do a medical test, and if I recall correctly, you are asked to provide medication you're on, and you are supposed to answer a list of questions. You are supposed to tell if you have a mental illness, and it should have been checked...

I can discern the lefties in this thread lamenting...
"Li is the true victim of this crime and Tim McLean is merely collateral damage"....
..this type of liberal rhetoric sickens me greatly... People in our society must and should be aware of the consequences of their actions OR is everyone who commits murder or acts of violence in Canada exempted from criminal punishment....????
Let's close the prison system down, tear down the courts and fire all the judges for they can be replaced with hospitals, doctors and nurses... I think NOT....
So was Hitler sick or evil? I can now hear this debate forementing deep within the narrow confines of an even narrower liberal mind....

If Canadians don't freak out about this, there is something wrong with us. The McLean family from Winnipeg deserves our support and outrage on this.
What if it was your family member? Think about the passengers on the bus too that witnessed this. OMG! Sad day in this country.

Yogi Yogi: It's no secret that I am a fervent supporter of bringing back the death penalty in cases of no doubt. Where there exists even the slightest doubt of guilt, the person be sent to prison for the rest of their natural life. In the event that person is proven not guilty they should be compensated $1,000,000 up front as well as an additional $1,000,000 per year for each year of incarceration. This case clearly falls into the category of no doubt. Forget the reason why! It is not likely that Li will ever be released back into society. Though that possibility does exist! Why else would 'we' be putting him in a hospital for treatment? To what end then? If he is never to be released why should 'he' not be administered one final injection? That's right, just execute the insane.

JustKate JustKate: Joy! Some immigrant comes to Canada, hacks a Canadians head off and get to live a cushy life in a mental facility that we ALL have to pay for. Sick and so wrong. Where is the fricken outrage???? If it had been a Canadian born citizen, would your reaction really be any different? If he had been put in prison instead of mental hospital, your taxes would still be paying for it. There isn't really anything to be outraged at, except maybe Mao Tse Dong for his "everyone fuck and have lots of kids so we'll have a billion hungry mouths to feed" policy.
