it is really interesting how krazy, borderline militant people get on both sides when the topic of breast feeding comes up.

my two cents:

yes breast feeding is a completely natural, appropriate, and healthy way of feeding your baby, I was breast fed and my children will be breast fed. I wouldn't want my wife to whip out her breast in the middle of a mall/public place and shove it in my childs mouth....IT'S INNAPROPRIATE.....yes yes i know, most of you ladies do a very good job at covering yourself up and i do appreciate it....but i still think that breast feeding is an important bonding moment between mother and child that should only be shared with family (mother, child, father, close relatives).

it's like birth, which again is a natural and ....beautiful process ..sorry...after birth still scares the shit out of me....I sure as hell wouldn't want a woman to bear down and plop out a little one in the middle of a shopping centre because 'it is natural and is her right' (unexpected births obviously excused). to relate this to the article...i wouldn't want to see pictures of women giving birth on face book.

again....breast feeding is an important bonding period between mother, child, and immediate family that should not be a public spectacle no matter how natural yadda yadda yadda it is.
