Yogi Yogi:
The RCMP is warning us 'good folks' not to go VIGILANTE!

Does that mean going Wyatt Earp is outta the question? :?

I was thinking more along the lines of Tecumseh. Too close to town for the thundersticks. And I have a bow hunting license, and deer (mule and whitetail) tags.

You gotta wonder, eh. Every RCMP press release, they give the citizens of Edson the finger wagging not to take matters into their own hands. They gotta be worried about that.

I love Alberta.

That works for me. Not sure what kind of tags you'd need for this kind of scum.. oh right - toe tags. May I look after rounding those up for ya?

Edson's still a "small town". Every long term citizen will take this personally. The RCMP are probably very wise to worry. I'm sure the town was in shock over the murder of the little girl - the 20 year old being attacked is just what they needed to bring them out of shock an throw them into rage. And rightfully so.
And yes - Alberta rocks

I'm just glad the second girl got away. Cowboy justice sounds good. Tie him to a horse and drag his ass.

Sure, whatever kind of tags you want! But, I was thinking, if someone had a bowhunting license and deer tags on them . . . well . . .it's not 'vigilantism' if it's a 'hunting accident'.

It has been known to happen..... hmmm...

It's a shame there's so much untouched wilderness in that area... they may never find him either.

Definitely like the 'toe tag' idea PCC. You got a real fine idea though about the wilderness. It made me think back many years to when I lived in Hinton. Our regular sitter Shelly Ann Bacsu was baby sitting for our next-door neighbor and she was 'grabbed' and she also has never been found.

Wyatt Earp was to 'gentle' for what this sick bastard and all the others like him need! Except for the fact that the family would always wonder.... we could always hope that 'someone' will make this slug 'disappear'. I would fully support such action!

Oh my gosh..... I remember that now that you mention her name. I can't imagine how devastating that must have been, and still is, given that there was never any closure for her friends and family.

Wyatt Earp may have been a wee bit on the gentle side, but at least when he was done with them, they didn't come back. They'll find this psycho, throw him in the slammer for a few years, go to court, and he'll serve an additional 6 months on top of what he already did, because he was such a good boy and so sorry for what he did.. . I'm gonna stick with Earp. Nice big river just to the west of town too... runs swiftly enough if I remember correctly. And if not, Grand Cache is a nice place to visit.... LOTS of great, secluded spots around there too.
