On a final note about the final punishment and Canadian courts in general.
No where in this thread have I ever seen an example of people getting upset over the severity of a sentance. Just the opposite is the case and we have a great number of examples of thugs getting away with murder.

It's about bloody time. I really have to wonder what kind of "worst lawyer ever" character would actually agree to defending this guy. He's probably about the only person in the courtroom that's worse than Pickton himself.

So since he has been in for 5 years, that would mean there's 20 left, so he will be 78 when gets out...
Please tell me I am wrong here, and that he got 6 x 25 years...

He probably won't ever get out but here in Canada multiple sentences are served concurrently, not consecutively.
