Because it’s not an issue. You can get hired if you’re a PR but you still need a security clearance. Citizenship doesn’t make you less of a security threat nor does being a PR mean that you’re not white or more of a theat.

Anyway, living in Oshawa I’m sure you have met more than a few white citizen criminals and low-lifes over the years.

Fllght risk and security risk aren’t necessarily the same thing since the latter is the likelihood of a crime occurring and the former is just the likelihood of the perp getting away after they’ve been found out.

Flipside of the coin is that a PR is deportable and their status and eligibility to even enter the country can be revoked.

But also if they’ve been caught for a crime they would be forced to surrender their passport or even denied bail in the first place, reducing the likelihood of flight for anyone trying to run any kind of ongoing scam.

Yep. White, Black, Native, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, and others as well. But I also met them in other places I've lived like Windsor, London, Cambridge, Winnipeg, Edmonton, St. Cloud, Leamington, etc. Although none of them were pussy little sanctuary cities with a heavily neutered police force to protect illegals.
