Thanos Thanos:
Thanks Ray. I was having fun though watching them twist and turn to and fro over what they wanted me to say as opposed to what I actually did say. Ah, the many lows and humiliations of the strawman builders.

Hang on their hero.
Time to finally have our discussion about what a strawman actually is, because I'm honestly not sure you know. First of all here's what it's not. It's not somebody responding to a strawman argument.
OK so this is what you said:
Thanos Thanos:
Here's hoping that all those rallying around Dawkins for being banned by a left-wing radio station also get as upset when he, Sam Harris, or Christopher Hitchens have their works banned and removed from school libraries at the demand of permanently outraged Christian fundamentalists.
That's your issue. That's something you built. Nobody else did. You did.
The inference is there's some reason there to suspect this is not just possible, but probable. Very well, what is it? What's this suspicion built on. Now you say it's built on nothing. You say there is no actual factual reason to worry about this possibility. Fine. I'll accept that
So what you're saying then is you built an issue out of thin air to deflect attention onto. Do you know what we call that?
It's called a strawman argument and you created it. Nobody else. You.
But thanks for confessing that there doesn't seem to be anybody other than The Regressive Left up to the sort of speech stifling we saw with Dawkins. As you now admit these evil Christian fundamentalist book burners attacking Dawkins et al were nothing more than strawmen you created out of thin air. We knew that. We just had to get you to admit it. And thanks for the assist Ray.
