My comment about it "only" being 1.5 sq mi had nothing to do with justifying Israel's land grab. It had to do with the media intentionally using "big" numbers like 1000 acres because it makes it sound even worse than it is.

In the UN special report on Palestine in 1947, it specifically states that Palestine not only declared a war of extermination, they also claimed the borders would run red with blood.
I posted the link to that in a different thread in response to one of YOUR posts. If you didn't bother reading it and would prefer your fantasy version of events, that's not my problem.

It's too bad you didn't bother reading it either. There was all kinds of neat stuff like how Egypt, Syria and Lebanon were going to divvy up Palestine between them after Israel was destroyed. Or how various Arab states rejected the two state solution not just because Israel would gain statehood, but so would Palestine. While none of the coaltion of Arab nations at the time entirely trusted each other, none of them trusted the Palestinian leadership as far as they could throw them.

Just for those who can't be bothered to check Dullwhine's numbers, the pop density of the West bank is around 1100 people per square mile, and it's about 9700 in Gaza, which is essentially a city.
