Delwin Delwin: West bank and Gaza are owned by the same people retard what difference does it make where the land is taken from ?
If I park my car downtown and it gets stolen, it's still my car, should I be less upset ?
Is there a point in there? As I said in an earlier post that you were all to happy to turn into the twisted strawman of a yammering half-wit, the West Bank land grab seems like a stab in the back to Abbas. My comment about it "only" being 1.5 sq mi had nothing to do with justifying Israel's land grab. It had to do with the media intentionally using "big" numbers like 1000 acres because it makes it sound even worse than it is. As for doubling down on your idiotic post about the size of Gaza and the population density when the topic is about the West Bank, just admit you made an ooopsy and move on.

Delwin Delwin: Nothing false about my numbers: 13,069.1/sq mi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_StripAnd the point is, others were trying to argue that 1.5 sq miles is not a lot of land. A strawman you created by your utter lack of comprehension skills.

There is no oopsy, I am very aware of the geography. I made my point that while others are arguing 1.5 sq miles is not a lot of land, to the Palestians, whom are living in conditions where 13000 are living per sq mile, it is a lot of land.
Care to address your lie about the "war of extermination" ? Or do you concede that you are full of shit ?

Delwin Delwin: Except that is a complete lie. The Palestinians never declared a war of extermination against Israel in 1947. Try again. . I see history is not your strong suit. In the UN special report on Palestine in 1947, it specifically states that Palestine not only declared a war of extermination, they also claimed the borders would run red with blood. I posted the link to that in a different thread in response to one of YOUR posts. If you didn't bother reading it and would prefer your fantasy version of events, that's not my problem. It's too bad you didn't bother reading it either. There was all kinds of neat stuff like how Egypt, Syria and Lebanon were going to divvy up Palestine between them after Israel was destroyed. Or how various Arab states rejected the two state solution not just because Israel would gain statehood, but so would Palestine. While none of the coaltion of Arab nations at the time entirely trusted each other, none of them trusted the Palestinian leadership as far as they could throw them. However, if you're committed to your belief that Israel is entirely to blame for everything, then don't read that link! I know how much you hate having your ideological beliefs questioned.

You decided not to post a link, not surprised, every link would have brought you to this realization: $1: Of the countless threats of violence, made by Arab and Palestinian leaders in the run up to and in the wake of the November 29, 1947 partition resolution, none has resonated more widely than the warning by Abdul Rahman Azzam, the Arab League's first secretary-general, that the establishment of a Jewish state would lead to "a war of extermination and momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacre and the Crusades." Abdul Rahman Azzam: $1: Abdul Rahman Hassan Azzam (Arabic: عبد الرحمن حسن عزام) (1893–1976), also known as Azzam Pasha, was an Egyptian diplomat, with family origins in Egypt.[1] He served as the first secretary-general of the Arab League from 22 March 1945 to September 1952. So now that we know you are full of shit, it is just a question of scale. How full of shit is Public Animal ? I say very.

Delwin Delwin: 13000 There you go, nothing but lies. What is the population density of the West Bank ?
|
Posted: Tue Sep 02, 2014 10:41 am
Not the point, not all of the land in west bank is habitable. The land which is being taken is habitable land. Gaza gives an indication of how the habitable land which Palestinians own is being used and so gives a far more clear indication of exactly what is being stolen.
The population density of Lake Ontario is not justification for stealing land in downtown Toronto.

Delwin Delwin: What is the population density of the Jordan River ? I suggest you hold your head at the bottom of the Jordan River until you can answer that question for us.

Just for those who can't be bothered to check Dullwhine's numbers, the pop density of the West bank is around 1100 people per square mile, and it's about 9700 in Gaza, which is essentially a city.

K, maybe now you can explain how the area of land that people can't live on is in anyway relevant to habitable land which is being stolen.
And I linked wiki where the population density of Gaza is said to be 13k/ sq mile. Please post your alternate link if you have a better one.

Twisting and turning from 'oh land from the West Bank, look at the pop. density of Gaza, and see how it is relevant...' To ' oh, no one can live in the West Bank anyway, the bad Jooo$$ are taking all the good stuff. The link was already posted, even you with your inferior single brain cell ought to be able to find it.
