BartSimpson BartSimpson:
bootlegga bootlegga:
I guess you forgot about GOP members who told your fellow Americans that the 9/11 hijackers came from Canada...

It was a suspicion and it was a legitimate concern given that just the previous year a terrorist did enter the US from Canada and was fortunately caught by a vigilant Border Patrol officer.

Yeah, that might be a valid argument on September 12, 2001.

Or October 11, 2001.

Heck, I'd even give you a full year and say September 11, 2002 might be okay for that kind of ignorance.

But not eight or nine years later - well AFTER it's been conclusively proven that they came directly from Europe:

John McCain in 2009;
http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2009/ ... sists.html

Sharon Angle in 2010;

http://news.nationalpost.com/2010/10/18 ... om-canada/

But yeah, it's the liberals that hate Canada

(Bad edit disclaimer)

Hey, hate on McCain and whoositz all you want. I hated McLame anyway. Still do.

Yes, we have stupid people down here. True.

But the people in charge right now who want to militarize the Canadian border while doing FA to secure the US-Mexico border is a bunch of leftards headed by the leftard Messiah.

BartSimpson BartSimpson:
Zipperfish Zipperfish:
(Liberals) still have statisically significant higher IQs though.

As measured by liberals, perhaps.

The guy who did the study claims himself to be a Libertarian who hates Liberals so I wouldn't put to much faith in his findings especially with statements from Mr. Kanazawa like this.

$1:
if you're a fan of Fox News or an avid churchgoer and are feeling put out by the findings, Kanazawa said you shouldn't be. "One should never take scientific findings personally, because they are empirical generalizations and there are always individual exceptions," he noted.

But finding like this one from the author would definitely explain why I'm awake half the night.

$1:
Kanazawa is no stranger to provocative research. In an earlier study, he found that more intelligent people tend to stay up later than less intelligent people. Because early humans lacked artificial light, they tended to wake up shortly before dawn and go to sleep shortly after dusk, while being nocturnal is evolutionarily novel, his findings suggested.

What's the big deal? She's just another in the long line of media morons who, given enough time will succumb to their limited intellectual proclivities and make as big a fuck as this current clown. :P

Political inclination apparently doesn't make one iota of difference when it comes to stupidity or arrogance.

Actually liberals tend to have higher IQs..

Why Liberals Are More Intelligent Than Conservatives

Although I wouldn't necessarily accept that a higher IQ means "more intelligent." I know a lot of guys with stratospheric IQs and most of them couldn't run a peanut stand.

Saw a show several years back where they had visited and interviewed the 10 people in the US with the highest IQs. The dude with the highest IQ (somewhere north of 190-200 IIRC) worked as a doorman at a bar and lived in a garage, and not a converted garage either.

There's actually been a few studies.

Once you hit a certain IQ it can become difficult to relate to people.

Sheldon Cooper types where the great intellect often equals total alienation from the herd and intense misanthropy. On the show it's kind of funny for the most part, except sometimes Jim Parsons puts that angry glittering look in his eyes to show that Sheldon really is batshit insane. In reality a lot of them are half a bubble away from dressing up like a comic book villain and shooting as many people as they can at a movie premiere.

In any case, there's studies, and there's studies...

$1:
A Yale University professor conducted a cross-analysis of intelligence and political affiliation, expecting to find that people who identified with the tea party knew less about science than the average person.

Instead, he discovered the opposite: tea party members have higher than average rates of scientific comprehension.

http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/17/prof- ... was-wrong/

$1:
So Republicans are more knowledgeable than Democrats, contrary to what many would like to believe.

According to whom? None other than the Pew Research Center, a left-of-center organization. Moreover, Pew’s latest survey only reaffirms previous surveys demonstrating the same result.

In fact, the results weren’t even close.

Are you sure that's a pic of Kohn at the top, and not an age enhancement of Justin Beiber at age 40?
