I worked for a company that somehow got access to my bank records. An automatic payment came out of my account, which I had forgotten about, which caused a cheque to bounce. A few days later, a shithead who worked in the security dept, came up to my desk and asked me if I had written any bad cheques lately. I looked him straight in the face and in a loud voice, asked him if he'd fucked any sheep lately.
Needless to say, they never bothered me again.

Two things learned; Nothing is private. Access can be gained.
Immediately fire back, full bore.

I didn't persue the matter further, because they did it in such a way, that it could be constued as coincidental.

This is why some have two accounts. One is their professional persona, the other is the private them. All it takes is a different way to spell your name.

To me, it is the principle of the matter. There is nothing on my wall that would be considered interesting to any boss anyway. BUT, it is still MY personal account, with MY personal messages. And there is no reason for anyone BUT ME to have access to it.
And definitely not for a boss.
