So no you putrid shitstain just because I’m a secularist who doesn’t want to be ruled by the religious right doesn’t mean I’m “anti-Christian’” and somehow unsympathetic to the persecution of Christians. Now go ponder that for an eternity.

Wow, just look at the HUGE triggering of the Anti Semite.

Egypt doesn’t control Gazas seaports and airspace

But it does support them. You know who else does? Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

$1:
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is opposed to lifting the naval blockade of the Gaza Strip because this would bolster Hamas, according to what he told United States President Barack Obama during their meeting at the White House Wednesday. Egypt also supports this position.

https://www.haaretz.com/abbas-to-obama- ... e-1.295771

Seems like nobody wants to see the terrorists of Hammas armed by terror-friendly nations like Iran by sea.

Well...Turkey does, but fuck Turkey.

I would hold Hamas, the PA, Israel and Egypt responsible for the current Gazan mess. Together they control Gaza, its economy, borders, territorial waters and airspace and they have made it a dreadful place to live in. Travel in and out is being restricted at the three crossings, including to take up scholarships in Western countries which is exactly the exposure talented young people there need more of. That is regrettable at any level.

Let's see who else has Jewish friends.

Hamas aide: 'I have Jewish friends'

It's called the friend argument.
The friend argument is one of the laziest ways to try to worm out of accepting the responsibility for endorsing prejudice.

It's right up there with "I'm not racist, but....."

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho ... 73336.html

Aren’t nearly all of us at least a little bit racist/sectarian/bigoted? I am and I’m the only white person in my household, which does contain other people. Maybe we’d be more ready to accept this tendency if we called it tribalism. People naturally prefer their own and we have to struggle against this impulse as we mature.

Kevin Myers wrote an offensive column. That should be judged against a lifetime of criticizing Islamic extremism. Many Jews in Ireland and Britain have come to his defence. These days, journalists have to stay edgy enough to be published without going over the PC cliff. For geezers like Myers, that must be hard to pull off.

BF tries to hide his anti Christian and anti Jew bigotry, while letting his
muslim apology flow full speed ahead.

This whole thread he is suddenly concerned about Arab Christians,
because his usual pro muslim rhetoric just doesn't work anymore.

Every once in a while his real hatred comes out, and it has to be called out.

Just ask him where were all the concerned comments when the Yazidis were
being genocided in Iraq ?
Or when the Buddists in Burma we being terrorized to the point of doing something about it ?

He is not the better person he thinks he is.

He proposed an alternative compromise, instead opening land crossings and Israel allowing shipments of food and medicine to enter Gaza, which Israel also restricts . That’s not same as saying he supports Israels seige of Gaza.

Hamas are terrorists. Even Abbas is scared of them. Weren't they originally voted in? If they were this is why you need to pay more attention to who you vote for Gaza.

Whatever...

The Muslim Arabs of Gaza and the West Bank did vote in Hamas in their last free election and now they have to live with the consequences in Gaza of whatever followed. The countries that border the territory protect themselves from terrorist attacks with border restrictions and an internationally recognized sea blockade.

The population is not starving. The human shields Hamas herds onto the roofs to protect their caches of Iranian rockets look well enough fed. I don't know if there's any real evidence medicine is being restricted by anything other than conflicts Hamas starts or the odd bureaucratic snarl. I do know Hamas was using "hospitals" for command centres during its last attack. As far as travel restrictions go, I know the Hamas bigwigs are getting into Qatar to hide easy enough when the conflicts they start break out.

Other than that Israel and Egypt can decide who or what goes across their borders.

IMO the decision to retard the exit of students travelling to other countries has very little to do with security. This problem has been festering for years.

You're making a pretty big stink about a guy delayed entry across the Israeli border during a period when there was a rash of terror stabbings and vehicular attacks in Israel. Let's try to guess who was responsible for those.

And we've only heard one side of that story so far. Not that it matters. The story is incidental.

Students on scholarships on their way to other countries, perhaps?

I’d say the story matters to the many people involved over the years. Just a guess. I know such people don’t matter to you.

And I imagine the stories of all the stabbed and run over Israelis matter to those victims' friends and families.

If I were them I'd call my representative and tell them to exercise tighter controls on the border into Israel.

2 state is gone forever now. Roll on 1.1 state with non-voting Palestinian enclaves in the West Bank. At least ministers like Naftali Bennett are honest enough to admit this as an ultimate aim.

Our true resident bigot lets it all out. Probably dumb enough to believe what he spews, too.
YOU are the racist. The antifascists are the fascists. The victims are the real perpetrators. Black is white. Except when I say it's red. I never said that I said black is red which proves black is white in my other claim. If you're only 98% in support you're 100% against it, you never mentioned the Lutonian persecutions...
Ya know Martin & Fiddle your song's getting a little boring. It's sad you got nothing else.

I'd like to know where their pro-Jewish commentary went to when I mentioned multiple times how armed alt-Reichers were lurking outside the synagogue in Charlottesville back in August scaring the hell out of the people inside.

Truer words were never spoken. There may be hope for you after all.

As to the enmity many on the left feel and don't seem to be able to cover up against Jews, Whites and, or Christians, it does appear to have all the earmarks of racism or at least bigotry.

Some people (you two for example  ) need to work harder on acknowledging the obvious.

But as to Trump recognizing Jerusalem as capital Israel, yeah he should try going in that direction. Appeasing Islamic zealotry hasn't worked.
