RCMP deny holding alleged assassin

A day after Dubai's police chief accused Canadian authorities of covering up the arrest of a suspect in the assassination of a Hamas commander, authorities here still don't know what he's talking about.

A spokesman for the RCMP said they were still looking into media reports - both here and in the United Arab Emirates - but nothing had changed from Tuesday, when Assistant Commissioner Gilles Michaud said he was "not aware" of any such arrest.

I think you're probably right, and the Reformacons have done irreparable damage to Canada.

Who's to say where this person was or was not. I applaud what they did, even if they screwed up. They removed a military threat without harming anyone else. Assassination is an infinitely better choice than large military operations for all concerned, especially civilians..
