I was bit in the arm by my own dog which I rescued from the animal shelter. I didnt shoot it. However, when I returned it to the animal shelter, they destroyed it cuz that is their standard - no questions asked - response to dogs that bite or attack humans.

We were pretty used to all the druggies having pit-bulls etc. Bashing them on the nose with a baton seems to get the message across. Dogs don't like having their noses caved in.

But we can't all be English now can we?
