In my opinion, the Jewish are as sensitive as the Muslims are to ANYTHING regarding their 'faith'. As far as I am concerned, there are two sides to every story not just the one that agree with current allied states.

andyt andyt: Proculation Proculation: I repeat: Disarm the muslims, there is no more war. Disarm Israel, there is no more Israel. Well, no more Palestine either, that's for sure. And how long would it be before it turns out that God actually promised Israel all the land to the Caspian sea, and of course Egypt, since that is where they came from in the first place? How do you get this? Last time I taught history, Sumer(where Ur was located) was in southern Iraq. The Hebrews were Semites, the Egyptians(of that time) were not. As for the question, it looks like a tempest in a teapot to me.

Proculation Proculation: come on, let's play some music and give your hatred of Quebec. On a country song ? Why not ! Lets start with Gens du pays and end with Mon Pays by Gilles Vigneault and throw in some Les Cowboys Fringants to spice things up!

Zipperfish Zipperfish: Here's my country song: In Quebec there are the Frenchies They all have "un accent" They drive around in voitures And live off the government
Whenever there's a war They're nowhere to be found But if it is a hand-out There's a line for miles around. In Vancouver they have tools and lots of fools. They have no identity In our ass they are a pain They have lots of rain They are arrogant and snobby So God decided for a hobby He would piss all over them!

Funny thing is, aren't French Canadians over-represented in the military? I'm not sure this song holds water, but that would also be in keeping with country music.
Also is Quebec's unemployment rate singificantly higher than English Canada? I bet the Maritimes is higher. Manitoba? Saskatchewan (historically, not recent years)?
Fun ditty though.
Also, the Palestinians were disarmed in the not-so-distant past, that didn't stop them from getting shot by troops for throwing rocks at Israeli bulldozers building new 'settlements' outside of Isreal's borders. And the construction of new settlements in occupied territories STILL continues, almost 50 years after Israel illegally annexed that territory. I would mention the last developed country that annexed territory through military force, but Godwin's law would shut down this thread. So, disarming "the muslims" would not solve the problem.

I think Israel is a great example of the endurance of our collective human spirit. For centuries to come, may their burning ferocity be a text book example of fighting for a nation's freedom and right to exist on this cold, lonely rock.
