This entire situation is retarded. Arizona passes a law that the federal government already has in place. Whiny assholes in California (with much bigger issues) make the Arizona law a distraction from their own financial situations.

Oh and it gets even more hilarious. San Fransisco AND Los Angeles are "Sanctuary" cities. As in, police officers cannot ask about the legal status of those they arrest. As in, they're breaking federal law. So these hypocritical city governments are protecting illegal immigrant CRIMINALS from being deported.

This is really fucking stupid. Completely. My parents (and along with that, myself and my siblings) are going to be forking a lot of money to get a Green Card in the US. We'll be legal immigrants, and trust me, there is a HUGE distinction between being against legal and illegal immigration. I can understand some of the worries over the Arizona law... HOWEVER, protecting illegal immigrant criminals from being deported is really fucking stupid.

Arizona, instead of deporting the illegal immigrants they find, should just send them to LA and San Fran, and have them deal with the higher crime rates.
